As I’m still in search for the perfect mineral makeup I decided to try out a more known brand this time. Today’s choice is a world renowned brand Bellapierre.
Bellapierre 5-in-1 mineral foundation contains just four natural ingredients; four minerals which are kind and gentle, protective and nurturing for the skin – Mica, Zinc Oxides, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide. These mineral ingredients give the mineral foundation the same properties as concealer, SPF, finishing powder and setting powder (veil)!
There are great starter kits and makeup collections with all the products an tools needed for those of you who want to completely switch to mineral makeup. And the prices are much better than buying all those items separately.
I decided to try their Compact Mineral Foundation in Ivory and to not spend excess money on blush, bronzer and highlighter I got their multi purpose color pigments (that you can apply on your cheeks, eyes, lips and even mix into clear nail varnish) in Champagne, Earth, Sunset, Cocoa and Noir.
The mineral foundation blended perfectly and I could get coverage with only a tiny amount. I really loved that they have a compact version as it is much more comfortable to use and take with you. I tend to be a bit clumsy and loose powder always creates a lot of spillage on my makeup table. Maybe I’m just too lazy or impatient but using two brushes (concealer brush and kabuki brush) to apply foundation takes a lot of time even though the result is worth it. They also have a BB cream that I might be more suitable for me. I’ll definitely give it a try later on.
On my everyday mineral makeup look I used the Compact Mineral Foundation in Ivory, Color Pigment Sunset on my cheeks, Color Pigment Earth as a bronzer and eyeshadow and Color Pigment Champagne on my brow bone.
On my mineral makeup evening look I used the Compact Mineral Foundation in Ivory, Color Pigment Sunset on my cheeks, Color Pigment Earth as a bronzer, Color Pigment Cocoa as eyeshadow and Color Pigment Champagne on my brow bone and as a Highlighter, Color Pigment Noir as eyeliner.
As a conclusion I can say that it was a great experience. The foundation was lovely and the pigments were super saturated- only a small amount gave a desired effect. The multi purposeness is a huge plus in these products- quality over quantity. Overall I’m very pleased with the results and will be using these products in the future.
