The annual season for graduations is about to begin and finding the perfect prom dress is on every girl’s mind. I’d like to share some tips and my selection of the cutest prom dresses for different personality types.

I think that the main mistake girls make while dressing for a graduation is going overboard. It’s important to remember that a graduation ceremony is a daytime event and large ballgown type dresses beehive up-do’s are not really appropriate.

Your prom is one of the first important events in your life, everyone wants to look their best and feel truly grown up but it is very important to dress your age. There’s a girl (or ten) in every graduating class who look like they have picked out a party dress from their mums closet and had their makeup done by a drag queen.

Let your prom dress make you happy for a longer period than just your graduation. Prom dresses can be quite pricey and it would be a shame to spend that kind of money on a dress you are only going to wear once. Choose a festive cut in either summery pastels or floral prints and your prom dress can become your favorite summer dress for years to come.

This is a selection of my favorite prom dresses. Let me know which one you like the most!
